Mr. Prasitsak Meelarp, President of the Supreme Administrative Court, led a delegation comprising Mr. Suchat Mongkollertlop and Mr. Somchai Wattanagaroon, Vice Presidents of the Supreme Administrative Court; Dr. Prasat Pongsuwan, President of Personnel Administration Division of the Supreme Administrative Court; Professor (Hon.) Dr. Manit Wongsaree, President of Budgetary and Financial Discipline Division of the Supreme Administrative Court; Mr. Anucha Hunswasdikul, Judge of the Supreme Administrative Court; Mr. Jamnong Thavornvisith, Secretary-General of the Office of the Administrative Courts; Ms. Wanasanan Kanchanaphalin, Director of the Bureau of Foreign Affairs; and officers from the Bureau of Foreign Affairs to organize the " Seminar on Comparative Administrative Procedure Law" on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the Lao People's Democratic Republic, held from 1 to 4 July 2025 at D Varee Jomtien Beach Hotel, Chonburi Province, with funding support from the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

     The seminar was honored by an opening address from Mr. Prasitsak Meelarp, President of the Supreme Administrative Court, and an introduction of participants by Mr. Sengkeo Viraphondeth, Fourth Division Judge and Head of Inspection Department, Supreme People’s Court of the Lao PDR. The participants included representatives from the Supreme People’s Court and the Office of the Supreme People's Prosecutor of Lao PDR.

     In addition, Associate Professor Dr. Amornrat Kulsujarit, Dean of the Faculty of Law, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), gave an overview of the trilateral cooperation project among the Office of the Administrative Courts, NIDA, and the Supreme People’s Court of the Lao PDR, under the international relations promotion fund. This was followed by a seminar on Comparative Administrative Court Procedure Law (Thailand – France – Germany), with the following as speakers: Mr. Suchat Mongkollertlop, Mr. Somchai Wattanakaroon, Dr. Prasart Pongsuwan, Professor (Hon.) Dr. Manit Wongsaree, and Mr. Anucha Hunswasdikul.

     On this occasion, Mr. Prasitsak Meelarp and his delegation held discussions with faculty members from NIDA’s Faculty of Law and representatives from the Office of the Supreme People's Prosecutor of Lao PDR regarding the development of cooperation in providing legal education scholarships to personnel of the Supreme People’s Court and the Office of the Supreme People's Prosecutor of the Lao PDR.

     On 3 July 2025, the delegation from the Supreme Administrative Court, officers from the Office of the Administrative Courts, and the seminar participants paid a study visit to PTT LNG Company Limited in Rayong Province, before departing on 4 July 2025.

     This seminar is considered a significant event that strengthens the good relationship between the Supreme Administrative Court of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Supreme People’s Court of the Lao PDR, and the Office of the Supreme People's Prosecutor of the Lao PDR. It represents a concrete achievement in judicial cooperation between Thailand and the Lao PDR and will pave the way for further technical collaboration and a lasting, close relationship in the future.
