On Friday, 24 July 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Office of the Administrative Courts organized the second academic discussion to promote knowledge and understanding of administrative law principles for personnel of the People's Supreme Court of the Lao PDR via Cisco Webex Meetings. On this occasion, Mr. Prasitsak Meelarp, President of the Supreme Administrative Court, delivered the opening remarks for the academic discussion.

   During the morning session, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, an academic discussion was held on the topic “Important Theories and Principles of Administrative Law and Administrative Court Procedures.” The speakers were Mr. Suchat Mongkollertlop, Vice President of the Supreme Administrative Court; Mr. Prasat Pongsuwan, President of the Personnel Administration Division of the Supreme Administrative Court; and Mr. Anucha Hunswasdikul, Judge of the Supreme Administrative Court. In the afternoon session, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., an academic discussion was conducted on the topic “Key Administrative Court Procedures.” The speakers were Mr. Somchai Wattanagaroon, Vice President of the Supreme Administrative Court; Mr. Prasat Pongsuwan, President of the Personnel Administration Division of the Supreme Administrative Court; and Mr. Anucha Hunswasdikul, Judge of the Supreme Administrative Court.

   Participants included personnel from the People's Supreme Court of the Lao PDR, the People’s Prosecutor Organization of the La๐PDR, and other justice-sector agencies of the Lao PDR, namely the Law and Justice Committee of the National Assembly of the Lao PDR, the Ministry of Justice of the Lao PDR, the National Academy of Politics and Public Administration, and the National University of Laos, with a total of 40 participants. The academic discussion was conducted under the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding on Legal, Judicial, and Administrative Judicial Management Cooperation between the Office of the Administrative Courts of Thailand and the People's Supreme Court of the Lao PDR. In fiscal year 2026, two academic discussion sessions were scheduled. The first session was held on 12 March 2026 on the topics "The Roles of Prosecutors and Judge-Rapporteurs in Administrative Litigation: A Comparison between Lao PDR and Thailand" and "Principles and Practices for Writing Statements in Administrative Cases."
